Street Style For Men
Posted by admin in Fashion Style, Shopping and Product Reviews, street style fashion on January 30, 2012
What exactly does the term “street style” mean? Well, the meaning is really implied in the name itself. Street style means that you are looking to the streets of your city for fashion inspiration, not to the runways of fashion shows. In cities all around the world, from Tokyo to London, from San Francisco to Seoul, and from New York to Recife, you’ll see great examples of fashionable and practical men’s street wear. It’s all about dressing in a way that is stylish, while still being comfortable enough to trek to the nearest subway station, and suiting the climate.
Today, street style is widely varied and men have a plethora of options to look stylish while staying comfortable. One of the keys to street style at this time of the year is to dress in layers. It is hard to know if buildings such as restaurants or book stores will be cool or warm this time of year, as it’s pleasant outside but perhaps not yet cold enough to turn off the air conditioning. Therefore, light jackets and sweaters can be key for you to transition between warm and cool temperatures.
Street style, in many areas, is also defined by the businesses that make up the bread and butter of the city. In free spirited arts districts, such as Bucktown in Chicago, you’ll see men on the streets in colorful and widely varied clothing styles. Here, you’ll fit in wearing a pair of brightly colored jeans, a silk screened tee shirt over a button down cotton shirt, and a brown leather jacket. You’ll also fit in wearing olive green chinos, a white cotton fitted tee shirt, a dark denim vest, and a Panama hat. Accessories may reflect a wide range of interests and mediums: everything from bracelets made of vintage coins to necklaces made of leather wooden beads or feathers. A sort of anything-goes vibe is prominent here. But you’ll notice that the “anything” is still polished and refined. If you want to throw a brightly colored bow tie or bit of animal print into your street style, you can do it. Oversized sports jerseys and track pants, however, have no place here.
In a more business-oriented area of the city, you’re likely to see street style reflecting a more office focused track. The essentials for this side of street style include tie accessoriesand a leather messenger bag or zip-top briefcase. The bag is an essential, as it is considerably more stylish than a backpack. With a more conservative street style look, you can add flair to your appearance with interesting touches, such as shoes made of a luxurious suede fabric, or those with a wing tipped design. Mixing patterns and textures is also a great way to add personality to your outfit. Don’t be afraid to wear the blazer from a pin striped suit with a pair of white denim pants, or a windowpane suit with a striped button up shirt and tie.
Street style is a blend of fashion and functionality. It can be creative, or it can be classic. One thing that has remained true for many years now, however, is that taking risks is always in fashion. So the next time you see an apparel item and think, “I like that, but I couldn’t pull it off,” go ahead and add it to your wardrobe. Whether it’s a chartreuse tie or a classic, long golf umbrella, it could be a great addition to your street style wardrobe.

Posted by admin in Fashion Style, Fashion Trends, Shopping and Product Reviews on January 20, 2012
Last month, a New York-based nonprofit organization, Global Language Monitor, launched an annual survey for the biggest fashion city. New York beat Milan this year, becoming the world’s first fashion capital. From 2004 to 2008, New York was reelected five times the winner of the charts, but in the last year, Milan, broken the monopoly of New York, thus ranking on top. This year, New York came back again, showing a glimmer of hope to the sagging U.S. economy. It is also providing the opportunity for everyone to look there for the newest fashion elements this coming fall.
New York: the new capital for fashion trend
Early in the 17th century, Dutch settlers, who came to North America to find a new paradise, started at New York as a brilliant place. Presently, New York still seems just like old time fashion capital. In fact, before World War II, New York designers were still slavishly imitating the great masters of Europe, Paris and London. Back then, New York was just a follower. The European fashion industry suffered a fatal blow during World War II. Famous Chanel (Chanel) boutiques were forced to close all their stores. Now, American designers have become “independent” and are finding their own fashion direction. Thus, the timing of the formation of the New York style is finally mature.
World War II, with the U.S. economy’s growth in strength, brought the gradual industrialization of the garment industry, the emergence of a group of talented designers made patterns and styles which changed in the world. New York stood out as the world forefront of fashion trends.
2004 was the first year of five consecutive years New York was voted to be the capital city of fashion trends. Each year the world’s top buyers, fashion designers, magazine editors, models, makeup artists, stylists, etc. gathered in New York Week with Beiqiyuehan Johnson (Betsey Johnson), Ralph Lauren (Ralph Lauren), Calvin Klein (Calvin Klein) as well as many other famous designers for a designer fashion show. This fashion shows brought in the total of approximately $ 253 million revenue for New York City.

Simple style
Some people jokingly say, “People enter the fashion industry because they do not want to wear clothes according to the company dress code.” However, this season seemed to open up everyone’s joke. Men’s suits and coats became a critical shape. The minimalist stepped forward again. On the Delaisifan Norton (Dries van Noten) show floor, the models wore oversized suit with black dress, with the first coat. Women showed more neutral feel. Stella McCartney (Stella McCartney) of the show, displayed the personal tailoring design, with no excessive jewelry, no fancy stacked with. Simple style is very obvious.

It is time to put away a super-mini skirt and high heels. Designers began to stare dignified but lively Youth skirt length to the middle leg, Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton are all true. Some designers also introduced to the ankle length skirt, such as Michael Kors and Ralph Lauren. This new style, with a pair of comfortable low-heeled shoes, goes up, elegant, swaying, especially with style.
Layering
Despite the rapid development of minimalism, there are also some designers who use the more the better approach with patterns. J. Crew ‘s Jenna Lyons Fuxing and chief designer with sequins, wool, cashmere, denim dress her models; reggae & Boone (Rag & Bone, 2002, was founded in New York, men in jeans and started, then, female Celadon installed quickly by the general public gaze) is a shape with eight items of clothing. This kind of nomadic style layers of feeling. In Rodarte (Rodarte), you can see a sweater, skirt plus hand-woven blankets. This winter is not cold.

Handbag this fall, will hit box-shaped package. However, improved version of the box-shaped bag, discard the grandmother’s subtle style becomes fashionable and avant-garde, Fendi, D & G Dior and other big names also have a similar design.
At the show, LV a retro-style box-shaped packages this trend to the limit. The use of bold handbag leather with embroidery and precious and a simple box-shaped bag body length ratio and the hand with a big fuss, crisp bag body is a lot to love. Knee boots
Jackboot is a very practical winter boot. Last year, much like New Yorkers, it was popular again. Jackboot Ji can provide a full range of warm as well as protect the legs. The slightly loose style of the jackboot on the legs can be a slightly modified form. The jackboot 2010 autumn and winter boots add a more decorative design, and flat over knee boots style is increasing, but also greatly increased the wear and with the nature of the real.
Chloe orange flat knee boots and Valentino bow decorated high-heeled knee boots are a good choice.
